About this scholarship

One fully funded Ph.D. position available in Spring/Fall in the GENIUS Laboratory under Prof. Ayesha Siddique's supervision. The research focuses on Explainable AI Guided Hardware Acceleration, specifically exploring energy-efficient hardware acceleration of explainable AI using approximate computing techniques. Successful candidates receive full financial support as Research/Teaching Assistants (RAs/TAs) with complete tuition waiver and health insurance benefits. The position requires strong academic background, demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, and proficiency in programming and algorithmic techniques including graph theory, dynamic programming, and optimization.

Eligibility

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering required. Knowledge of AI/ML mandatory. Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python required. Preference for candidates with research experience in LLMs and reinforcement learning. Students already in the US given priority.
