About this scholarship
The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program funds master's study in development-related fields at participating universities worldwide. It covers full tuition, basic medical insurance, a monthly living allowance scaled to the host country, and economy air travel at the start and end of study plus a US $600 travel allowance per trip, for the length of the program or two years, whichever is shorter.
Eligibility
Open to nationals of World Bank member developing countries with at least three years of paid, development-related work experience and unconditional admission to an eligible master's program outside their home and residence countries. Applicants who hold citizenship of a developed country, or who are World Bank staff or close relatives of staff, are not eligible.
