About this scholarship
The Bridge Scholarship 2026 aims to provide intelligent but indigent students in Africa with access to quality education irrespective of socioeconomic limitations. The scholarship covers educational expenses, mentorship, and career development, offering holistic and ongoing support. Over 32 scholars have been awarded from competitive application pools, with 32 scholars used for graduated degree programs. Post-graduation, scholars receive transitional assistance to launch successful careers.
Eligibility
Fully enrolled in any public university in Nigeria; demonstrate critical financial need; exhibit academic commitment to complete Bachelor's degree; maintain minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0-3.5 or higher; demonstrate university and community service activities; be involved in community service

- Personal statement (500 words max)
- University Admission Letter
- Letter of Identification and Academic Standing from Head of Department
- Two signed Recommendation letters (1 each)
- Current University Academic Record/Transcript
- JAMB Result & SSECE Result (for Year 1 students only)
- Proof of Leadership - List positions held and responsibilities
