About this scholarship

Programme: European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE). Applicant field: Law.

MATCH TYPE: Related-field suggestion; consortium must assess transcript. Field-specific screening: EMMIR requires relevant preparation; EMLE additional option below

2027 APPLICATION CALENDAR: 1 September 2026; non-European deadline 31 December 2026, 23:59 CET; European deadline 15 January 2027. Opening: 2026-09-01. Status as checked on 5 October 2026: OPEN.

FUNDING: Scholarship availability and award terms need current-call confirmation. Read the current call for award coverage and availability.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS: Explain legal/economic preparation and prior credits; select the correct nationality deadline.

APPLICATION STEPS: 1. Read the eligibility page and compare degree, credits, grades and language evidence. 2. Choose an eligible mobility track. 3. Prepare the current-call documents. 4. Submit through the official application system before its stated time-zone deadline. 5. Complete interviews or later certification if requested.

A recognised bachelor’s degree or formally recognised equivalent is normally needed; taking only a few courses is not sufficient. Final-year eligibility is programme-specific and graduation must meet its deadline. Meeting academic criteria does not guarantee admission or a scholarship. Applicants normally apply directly to the consortium; verify nationality/residence, previous Erasmus Mundus funding, language-test validity and the chosen mobility route in the current call.

OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS: https://emle.org/application-2/ OFFICIAL APPLICATION/CALENDAR: https://emle.org/application-2/ Checked: 2026-10-05. Recheck the portal before submitting.
