About this scholarship
The Chevening Scholarship is the UK government's flagship fully funded master's award, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations. It covers full tuition for any eligible one-year UK master's, a monthly living stipend (around £1,378 outside London and £1,690 in London), return airfare, visa fees, and arrival and departure allowances. Roughly 1,500 scholars are selected each year from more than 160 countries and territories.
Eligibility
Open to citizens of a Chevening-eligible country who apply from that country. Applicants need an undergraduate degree that qualifies them for a UK master's, plus at least 2,800 hours of work experience (about two years). You must apply to three eligible UK courses and hold an unconditional offer from one by the stated July deadline, and commit to returning home for at least two years after the award. UK and dual-UK nationals are not eligible.
