About this scholarship
The Commonwealth Master's Scholarship is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for students from eligible Commonwealth countries who could not otherwise afford UK study. It is fully funded, covering tuition, return airfare, a monthly stipend of around £1,347, and additional grants for warm clothing and study travel.
Eligibility
Open to citizens of (or refugees and British Protected Persons resident in) an eligible Commonwealth country. By the September start you must hold at least an upper second-class (2:1) honours degree, or a lower second plus a relevant master's. You must be unable to fund UK study yourself and commit to returning home afterward. Applicants who already hold a UK master's are not eligible.
