Responsibilities: Chairside Assistance: Assist dentists and specialists (OMFS, Orthodontist, Dental Therapist) during all clinical procedures. Prepare dental instruments, materials, and treatment rooms for procedures. Ensure four-handed dentistry techniques for smooth and efficient workflow. Handle suctioning, retraction, irrigation, and passing of instruments. Mix dental materials (impression materials, cements, composites) accurately. Manage digital and analogue impressions (assist with intraoral scanning where trained). Patient Care: Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and reassurance. Explain procedures, post-operative care, and instructions clearly. Monitor patient well-being during treatment (including anxious or pediatric patients). Escort patients after procedures and support with follow-up reminders when needed.
