Procurement Officer

Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and engage reliable vendors and suppliers Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation Ensure availability of medical consumables, drugs, and non-medical supplies Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms with suppliers Maintain accurate procurement records and inventory reports Liaise with user departments to understand procurement needs Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and internal controls Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues Support periodic audits and stock verification exercises Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, accounting, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Good knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control High level of integrity, attention to detail, and...
