Loan Officer

Responsibilities: Identify and mobilize potential loan clients. Receive, review, and analyze loan applications. Conduct field visits for client appraisal and business verification. Assess clients’ repayment capacity and credit risk. Prepare and submit credit appraisal reports for approval. Facilitate loan disbursement in line with approved terms. Monitor loan utilization and ensure proper use of funds. Follow up on repayments and manage loan recovery. Maintain accurate client and loan documentation. Build and maintain good relationships with clients. Prepare periodic credit and portfolio performance reports. Requirements: Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in credit, loan administration, or microfinance operations (an added advantage). Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level roles.
