About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in line with regulatory and ethical standards. Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and drug interactions to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCN regulations, NAFDAC guidelines, and other pharmaceutical laws. Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure compliance and efficiency. Participate in stock planning, reorder management, and overall store optimization to ensure product availability. Ensure the ethical and professional handling of all pharmacy operations. Contribute to customer retention and sales growth by providing quality service and health education. Requirements: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2–3 years of post-NYSC experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
