Responsibilities: Till & Payment Operations Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. Process customer payments (cash, POS, transfers). Issue receipts and ensure correct billing for all transactions. Handle cash responsibly and balance the till at shift close. Customer Interaction Receive customers at the checkout point politely and professionally. Direct customers to the pharmacist or pharmacy assistant for product or medication inquiries. Manage customer queues efficiently to reduce waiting time. Record & Transaction Accuracy Ensure correct pricing and quantities are entered at checkout. Report pricing discrepancies or system issues to management. Assist in stock reconciliation from the system when required. Maintain transaction records as required.\ Compliance & Conduct Follow cash-handling procedures and internal control policies. Maintain confidentiality of customer transactions.
