Internal Audit Officer

Responsibilities: Statutory Audit & Assurance: Assist in the planning and execution of external audits for various clients to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS and relevant CAMA guidelines. Accounting Software Management: Utilise QuickBooks and other accounting packages to record client transactions, maintain general ledgers, and generate accurate financial reports. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including Statement of Financial Position, Profit and Loss accounts, and Cash Flow statements. Tax Compliance & Planning: Manage the computation and filing of monthly tax returns, including Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and PAYE, ensuring strict adherence to FIRS and State IRS (RIRS) deadlines. Audit Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed audit working papers and lead schedules to support audit findings and opinions.
