About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the hotel’s menu and recipes. Assist the Chef in planning daily menus and specials. Ensure proper portioning and plating of meals for consistent presentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times. Follow food safety and hygiene standards in handling, storing, and preparing food. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the Chef or Supervisor when supplies need replenishing. Minimize food wastage and assist with inventory control. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist with catering for events, banquets, and room service as required. Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience Minimum of a Diploma
