Loan Officer

Responsibilities: Meet with applicants to assess loan needs and eligibility Review and analyze financial documents (income, credit history, assets) Evaluate loan applications and determine risk levels Recommend approval or rejection of loan requests Explain loan terms, conditions, and repayment plans to clients Maintain accurate records of applications and approvals Follow up on loan repayments and ensure compliance Meet monthly loan disbursement and recovery targets Requirements : Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 1–3 years of experience in banking, microfinance, or a lending institution Strong analytical and decision-making skills Good understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office
