Die Corrector

Responsibilities: Inspect extrusion dies for defects, wear, and damage Perform die corrections to improve product quality and reduce defects Carry out polishing, grinding, and adjustments on dies Analyze extrusion issues such as tearing, lines, or deformation, and recommend solutions Work closely with the production and quality control teams Maintain proper records of die maintenance and repairs Ensure all tools and equipment are properly handled and maintained Follow safety procedures at all times Requirements: Minimum of OND / Trade Test / Technical certification in Mechanical or related field At least 2–4 years of experience in aluminium extrusion or a similar manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of die correction, polishing, and maintenance The ability to read technical drawings is an added advantage Good problem-solving skills Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
