Responsibilities: Linen Processing: Wash, dry, and iron hospital linens, including bedsheets, pillowcases, towels, and uniforms, ensuring they meet hygiene standards. Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and steam irons. This includes following specific manufacturer instructions (e.g., ensuring water levels in steam irons) to prevent damage. Stain & Infection Control: Treat stained fabrics and follow strict protocols for handling "soiled" or contaminated linens. Quality Control: Inspect all items for tears or damage after cleaning and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately. Inventory Management: Organize and restock clean linens in the appropriate wards and storage areas to ensure a steady supply for clinical staff.
