About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Welcome guests and handle check-in and check-out efficiently. Manage room reservations and online bookings. Operate the hotel management software (PMS) for guest registration, billing, and room allocation. Respond to guest inquiries, calls, and emails promptly. Handle payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions. Provide information about hotel services and local attractions. Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness. Maintain accurate guest records and reports. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a hotel receptionist or front desk officer. Hands-on experience with hotel reservation/management software (PMS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good appearance and professional demeanour.
