About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Operate and drive trailer trucks safely and responsibly. Transport goods to designated locations on schedule. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo. Maintain logbooks and delivery documentation. Report vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents promptly. Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients. Perform minor vehicle maintenance and refueling as needed. Ensure cargo is handled carefully to prevent damage. Requirements: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks/trailers.
