About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Inspection & Diagnostics: Inspect heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Perform routine safety inspections to detect potential issues. Repair & Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and tune-ups. Repair or replace defective components including engines, brakes, suspension systems, transmissions, and hydraulics. Overhaul diesel engines and other major mechanical systems when required. Conduct welding and fabrication work as needed. Equipment Testing: Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.
