About this scholarship

Responsibilities: Install solar panels, inverters, batteries, and mounting systems Conduct site assessments and system sizing Perform wiring, testing, and commissioning of solar systems Troubleshoot and repair faulty solar equipment Carry out routine maintenance and performance checks Ensure installations comply with electrical and safety standards Maintain accurate installation and service records Educate clients on system usage and basic maintenance Work with engineers and project managers on system upgrades Follow all health and safety procedures on-site Requirements: Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field 1–4 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical wiring Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Physically fit and able to work at heights Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage Valid electrical certification is an advantage
