About this scholarship

Responsibilities Construct and install doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, and other wooden structures Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Repair damaged structures and furniture Install fittings such as locks, hinges, and handles Operate hand and power tools safely Ensure quality finishing and smooth surfaces Maintain tools and equipment properly Follow safety regulations and site guidelines Work collaboratively with other construction team members Requirements: Minimum of SSCE or vocational training in Carpentry Proven experience as a carpenter Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Skilled in using carpentry tools and machinery Good physical strength and stamina Attention to detail and precision Ability to work independently or as part of a team Knowledge of safety procedures
