Responsibilities: Support pharmacists in the dispensing of medications Provide information on over-the-counter medications, answer basic questions, and direct more complex inquiries to the pharmacist. Ensure proper storage of medications, including monitoring expiration dates and discarding expired stock. Assistants handle phone calls and written communications, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel as needed. Prepare labels for medication containers, ensuring clear and accurate information is provided. Process payments for medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, manage cash registers, and complete transactions.
