Medical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities: Prepare solutions, including butter solutions, fluids, and Glemsa's Leishman stains, while also preserving parasites and arthropod vectors. Ensure the timely collection and delivery of samples and results, utilising a motorbike when necessary. Examine and analyse patient specimens to provide critical information required for accurate diagnosis. Maintain rigorous standards for sample labelling and identification. Report to the Lead Medical Technician to ensure an efficient process for dispatching and collecting results and samples. Assist the Lead Medical Laboratory Technician in the conduct of blood transfusions and execute other assigned responsibilities. Maintain precise delivery documentation to facilitate proper tracking. Collaborate effectively as part of a team, ensuring professional communication with both the Medical Laboratory Scientist and the Marketing team.
