About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions Review prescriptions for safety and efficacy Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy logs Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and standards Monitor inventory and manage drug stock levels Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Provide health and wellness advice, including preventive care Requirements: Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D) from an accredited institution Licensed to practice by the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Pharmacists Council of Nigeria) Knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medical terminology Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Proficiency in pharmacy management software is an advantage
