About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems. Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, or other issues. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings related to plumbing. Perform preventive maintenance to avoid system failures. Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople on projects. Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance work. Requirements: Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role. Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Understanding of local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and standards. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle plumbing tasks. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
