About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Maintain proper books of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts. Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts. Track expenses and support budgeting and cost-control initiatives. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Ensure accurate recording of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Support stock counts and inventory audits. Prepare statutory deductions and filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.). Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
