About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Post and reconcile entries in the general ledger. Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements and other financial reconciliations. Process payroll accurately and ensure timely statutory remittances (e.g., PAYE, VAT, pension contributions). Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules. Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls. Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. A minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
