Responsibilities: Provide antenatal care and monitor the health of pregnant women Assist women during labor and delivery Monitor the condition of both mother and newborn after childbirth Provide postnatal care and guidance on newborn care and breastfeeding Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Educate mothers and families on maternal and child health Maintain accurate medical records and patient information Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and safety protocols Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Midwifery or Nursing/Midwifery Valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council Proven experience in maternity care Strong clinical and patient care skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during emergencies Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
