About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods Cooking a variety of savoury dishes when required. Requirements: 2 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role in a professional kitchen. Must be able to cook a variety of savoury dishes in addition to baking. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, bread making, dessert plating, and cake decoration. Creativity in developing new recipes and improving existing ones. Ability to follow and adapt recipes to maintain consistency and quality. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation standards. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
