PLAB Tutor

Responsibilities: Deliver structured live sessions (OSCE, SBA clinical reasoning, acute scenarios). Create and edit exam-style questions, scoring rubrics, and realistic OSCE cases. Design and run mock exams with standardised marking and feedback. Provide personalised study plans and progress reports for each student. Analyse student performance data; iterate on lesson materials and teaching approach. Contribute to tutor training, quality standards, and content library improvements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PLAB format and GMC guidance. Requirements: MBBS/MD (or equivalent) with appropriate clinical registration or relevant clinical experience. Recent successful completion of the PLAB examinations. Recent successful PLAB coaching experience OR demonstrable track record of teaching medical students/IMGs for clinical exams.
