About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils; cleaning food service areas, ovens, and workstations; and removing waste to maintain hygiene standards. Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting vegetables, fruits, and meat. Unloading, checking, rotating, and storing food deliveries and inventory. Following all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation protocols. Assisting chefs and cooks during service hours to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Requirements: Minimum HND. Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced, hot environment, and lift heavy items. 2 years of previous experience in a similar role. Ability to communicate and cooperate with kitchen staff. Ensuring high standards of sanitation. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
