About this scholarship

Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on Lister and other diesel generators (oil changes, filter replacement, servicing). Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in generators. Repair or replace faulty engine components (injectors, pistons, fuel pumps, alternators, etc.). Install and commission new generators. Test generator performance and ensure proper functioning after repairs. Troubleshoot issues with starting, power output, or the fuel system. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick solutions. Requirements: Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or equivalent. Technical certification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or generator maintenance is an advantage. 2–5 years of hands-on experience working with generators (Lister preferred).
