About this scholarship
Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of meals (local and/or continental dishes) Plan menus and ensure meals meet quality standards Ensure food is properly cooked, presented, and served on time Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and cooking utensils Monitor food stock and report shortages Follow food safety and hygiene standards Assist with kitchen organization and inventory control Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned Requirements: Proven experience as a cook Knowledge of local and/or continental dishes Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good time management and organizational skills Physically fit and able to stand for long periods Creativity and attention to detail
