Responsibilities: Taking accurate body measurements, advising on fabrics, styles, and patterns, and discussing repair or alteration needs. Creating custom garments from scratch by creating patterns and cutting fabric. Modifying existing clothing to change size (tighter/looser) or length (shorter/longer) and repairing rips or damaged seams. Using machines or hand sewing to join fabric pieces, attach linings, zippers, buttons, and fasteners.
