Lathe Machine Operator

Responsibilities: Set up and operate lathe machines (manual or CNC) Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Machine metal parts to the required dimensions and tolerances Select appropriate cutting tools and materials Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards Perform routine maintenance on machines Maintain a clean and safe working environment Report faults or production issues to the supervisor Requirements: Minimum of OND/Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proven experience as a lathe machine operator Strong understanding of machining processes and tools Ability to read engineering drawings Good knowledge of safety procedures Attention to detail and precision
