About this scholarship

Responsibilities: Review and validate Clerk's AI-generated outputs: transaction categorizations, journal entries, financial statements, and tax calculations Handle escalated accounting questions from users that the AI cannot confidently answer Review and update the knowledge base entries covering GAAP, IFRS, Nigerian tax law (PAYE, pension, NHF), and common accounting practices Identify patterns in AI errors and work with the engineering team to improve accuracy Advise on Nigerian-specific accounting and tax compliance requirements Support the development of the "accountant channel" — helping us understand what small accounting firms need and how Clerk can serve them Requirements: Experience working with or advising small businesses in Nigeria. Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar). Currently running or working in a small accounting practice. Interest in fintech or AI-powered tools.
