About this scholarship
The Rhodes Scholarship is the world's oldest international scholarship, funding full-time postgraduate study at the University of Oxford. It covers all Oxford course fees plus an annual stipend of around £20,400 (£1,700 per month) for living costs, the Oxford application fee, student visa and health surcharge, and two economy flights to and from the UK. The basic tenure is two years, with up to three years possible for a DPhil.
Eligibility
For outstanding young people who meet the academic entry requirements of their chosen Oxford graduate course, typically a First Class or strong upper-second degree (GPA around 3.7/4.0 or higher). Eligibility on age, citizenship and residency varies by constituency, so applicants must check the criteria for the country or region they apply through.
