The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship supports world-class doctoral students at Canadian universities. It is valued at $50,000 per year for up to three years to fund PhD studies and research.
Eligibility
Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students nominated by a Canadian institution with a Vanier quota. Candidates must be pursuing a first doctoral degree, show a first-class average in each of their last two years of study, and demonstrate research potential, academic excellence, and leadership. Those who already hold a CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC doctoral award are not eligible.
