About this scholarship
The France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship is run by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to attract top international students to French master's and doctoral programmes. It provides a monthly allowance of €1,200 at master's level and €2,100 at doctoral level, plus international and domestic transport, insurance, housing support and cultural activities. Note that tuition fees are not covered.
Eligibility
For international students enrolling in accredited master's, engineering or doctoral programmes in France. Master's applicants must be 29 or under and PhD applicants 35 or under, and must not already be studying in France at the time of application. Candidates with French nationality (including dual nationals) are not eligible. Students cannot apply directly; the French host institution must nominate them.
